Cut Kohila into medium chunks - 300g
Knorr seasoning cubes - 1
Coconut Oil - 1tsp
Onion - 1
Garlic – 2 cloves
Green Chili - 1
Piece of Pandan Leaf
Curry Leaves - 1 Sprig
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Chili Powder - 2 tbsp
Roasted curry powder – 1 tbsp
Tomato - 1
Water Cups - 2
Coconut milk - 1 cup
Salt to Taste
1. Heat oil in a pan and add garlic, onion, green chili, pandan leaf, curry leaves and sauté till fragrant.
2. Add Kohila and sauté. After that add chili powder, turmeric roasted curry powder and tomato. Mix well.
3. Add water and cook till Kohila is tender. Then add coconut milk and Knorr seasoning cube. Cook well till the gravy has the desired consistency. Season with salt to taste. Serve hot.
You can add tamarind paste as a substitute for tomato.
