Pan Fried Greek Lemon Chicken Rice

Ingredients

4-5 Chicken Thighs

300g Basmati Rice, raw

2 Knorr Seasoning Cubes

1 Onion, chopped

2 cloves Garlic, chopped

2 Tbsp. dried Oregano

2 Tbsp. dried Marjoram

1 Tsp. crushed Pepper

3-4 Tbsp. Olive Oil

1 Tsp. turmeric

1 Tsp. chili powder

1 Lemon, juiced

Water to boil Rice

Method

1. In a pan, add olive oil. Put the thighs skin side down to ensure crispiness. Then, add the onion, garlic, turmeric, chili powder, pepper powder, lemon juice and dried herbs. Fry for a few minutes till fragrant.

2. Add the washed rice, Knorr Seasoning Cubes and sufficient water. Stir well. Bring to boil.

3. Season with salt to taste and serve hot.
