Cooked rice 500g
Knorr seasoning cube 1 no
350g of Pitted dates 300g
Peanuts 50g
1 no of chopped Onion 1 no
2-3 cloves chopped Garlic 2 cloves
1 inch piece of chopped Ginger 1 inch piece
2 nos of chopped tomatoes 2 nos
Chili flakes 2 tbsp
Margarine 20g
Vinegar 2 tbsp
Spring onion leaves cut in to 1 inch pieces
Salt to taste
Add fried shredded whole chili,red chili
1. Add 50g of dates and vinegar into a grinder. Grind to a smooth paste and set aside. Cut the remaining dates in to thin slices.
2. Melt the margarine in a separate pan. Add chopped ginger and garlic and sauté till fragrant. Then add the onions and tomato. Sauté for 2 minutes
3. Add the grounded date paste in to this and mix well. Add Knorr seasoning cube and chili flakes mix well. Now add the cooked rice and remaining dates and peanuts. mix well, season to taste with salt, sprinkle spring onion and serve hot
